Emailvision announces key hires and technology investments
With over 2,000 clients and 4,500 users worldwide, Emailvision delivered a record 24 billion emails on behalf of its customers during 2009. The email service provider is building out its technology platform to prepare for continued strong client growth and maintain a high level of service for its customers during the course of 2010.
Charles Wells has joined as CIO (Chief Information Officer). Charles has more than 20 years of experience in software development and solution delivery. Prior to joining Emailvision, Charles was regional vice-president of solution delivery across EMEA for telecoms specialist, NetCracker Technology (NEC). Commenting on the developments, he said: “The company is on track to double both its technology platform and R&D team in 2010 vs. 2009. Our technology team is growing to 75 people in 2010 and will result in significant software service enhancements for Emailvision’s clients.”
Additional senior technology hires include Nicolas Cardiles, who has joined as Infrastructure Director and Nicholas Harvey, who has been appointed Director of Application Development.
