Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Nick Heys is a technology entrepreneur with more than 20 years experience in direct marketing. Nick established the company in 1999 with a vision to create a revolutionary technology platform for marketers to leverage the power of email marketing. Today, Emailvision operates in more than 19 countries and delivers five billion messages every month on behalf of more than 4,000 clients worldwide. Under his direction, Emailvision has grown from a fledgling start-up to a global market leader in email, mobile, and social marketing. Nick holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the MBA Institute in Paris, France. He travels extensively and speaks fluent English and French; and conversational Spanish and German.
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Guy is a technology entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience leading organizations through rapid transformation; from start-up to market leader. From 1978 – 1995, Guy held several senior leadership positions at Computer Associates during their rapid ascent to market leadership in the enterprise software market. Guy established CA’s first office in France. He also served as Vice President of Computer Associates Europe. In 1995, Guy joined Transiciel SA, one of France's fastest-growing IT consulting groups, as Vice President. He remained in this position until their IPO in 1998. In 1997, Guy joined the board of ITS SEEVIA Group, a leading computer services and software company. In 2004, Guy joined Emailvision to help lead the company’s operations through significant growth. Since 2004, Emailvision has experienced over 40% growth each year. Guy received a Master in Science degree from INRACI in Belgium. He speaks fluent French, English, and Flemish. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Conscio, Mix-Commerce, and ITS Group SA.
Senior Vice-President & Chief Product Officer
Charles Wells joined Emailvision in February 2010. He has over 20 years of experience in software design, development, delivery, implementation and support. Charles started his career in IT Services for the healthcare industry working at Tenet Healthcare and Magellan Health Services. From 1998 – 2002, he held several senior management roles at Portal Software (Oracle). Prior to joining Emailvision, Charles was EMEA Vice President of Solution Delivery for NetCracker Technology (NEC). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business; and a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of South Florida. Charles speaks fluent English and French.
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Nathalie Chaboche has over 25 years of experience leading worldwide marketing and lead generation programs for technology companies. Nathalie started her career developing management applications. During the next 12 years with Computer Associates, she was responsible for the development, localization, marketing, direct sales, indirect sales, and support for a wide range of software products. In 1997, Nathalie joined the ITS Group, a leading computer services and software company, to assist in the creation of their new marketing organization. In 2004, Nathalie joined Emailvision where she currently leads a global organization responsible for worldwide lead generation, regional events, online marketing, product marketing, partner marketing, analyst and public relations. She speaks fluent English, French, and conversational German and Italian.
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Laurent Castellani joined Emailvision in August 2010. He has 20 years of experience managing Information Systems and Cloud Computing operations. Laurent started his career as a software engineer for Act Informatique. Prior to joining Emailvision, Laurent spent several years in the United States as the Director of Information Systems at Reed MIDEM, and Vice-President of Information Systems at Atempo. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ESIEE in France. Laurent is fluent in English and French.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Jerome Arnaud joined Emailvision in January 2012. Jerome has over 20 years of financial management experience in the technology sector with listed companies on the Nasdaq and Euronext. Prior to joining Emailvision, Jerome served as CFO of Generix Group, a SaaS provider for supply chain management. From 2000-2009, Jerome worked at ILOG, a global provider of enterprise software and services. He spent three years as their Group Controller. In 2003 Jerome was named the CFO and during his tenure, he helped to lead the sale of ILOG to IBM. Jerome started his career as a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers, based in the US and Europe. He received a Masters in Business Administration from the Ecole supérieure de Commerce de Lille. Jerome speaks fluent French and English.
Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
Marc-André Rainon, joined Emailvision in 2010. Prior to joining Emailvision, Marc-André spent more than 6 years with the ADP Group, a world leader for business outsourcing services, where he held HR management positions in France and ADP’s headquarter office in the US. Marc-André received a degree in Labor Law from Université Panthéon Sorbonne Paris I, a masters degree in Philosophy from Université Panthéon Sorbonne Paris I. He also received a Human Resources Administration certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson University in the US. Marc-André is fluent in French and English.
Senior Vice President of Finance
Olivier Candau joined Emailvision in January 2006. Olivier has more than 15 years of financial management experience in the technology sector. Olivier started his career at the ABAC Chartered Accountant firm. In 1997, Olivier served as the Director of Finance at ADDE-Claritas where he was responsible for finance, human resources, IT and administration services. In 2000, Olivier became the EMEA Finance Director at Rainbow Technologies. In 2004, Rainbow Technologies was acquired by SafeNet and Olivier became the EMEA Finance Director of SafeNet. Olivier holds a Degree in Higher Accounting and Financial Studies (DESCF) from L’ENGDE in France. He speaks fluent English and French, and conversational Spanish. He is also a member of the 2011 Emailvision Summits team.
Vice President & General Manager United Kingdom
Joseph Smith, joined Emailvision in January 2011. Joe has more than 15 years of management experience in the Enterprise Software industry. He started his career in IT services for the UK Financial Services industry. Joe then moved to Platinum Technology as a Technical Consultant. Prior to joining Emailvision, Joe spent 11 years with BMC Software in management roles that include EMEA Software Consulting Manager, EMEA Brand Manager and EMEA Customer Support Manager. Joseph received a Bachelor’s degree, with Honors, in Business and Information Technology from the University of Paisley in Scotland. He speaks fluent English, French and Italian.
Vice President of France
Arnaud Acarie joined Emailvision in September 2007. Arnaud has 10 years of sales management experience. At Emailvision, Arnaud has served as a Sales Manager and Sales Director in France. Prior to joining Emailvision, Arnaud was a Sales Manager at Xerox France. Arnaud received a Diplôme de l’Ecole Supérieure de Montpellier from the Ecole Superieur de Commerce de Montpellier. He also has a Diplom Arbeit from the European University Viadrina Frankfurt. Arnaud speaks fluent French and English, and conversational German.
Vice President South America
George Waddell is based in São Paulo Brazil. George is an entrepreneur with over 25 years experience leading successful business ventures in the Latin American market. As a 21 year old student in university, George founded his first company. He then went to work in the insurance industry for CGS France and GMF Assistance International. In 1992, George moved to Brazil following a management buyout of GMF Assistance do Brasil, an assistance company that subsequently became the market leader in Brazil under the name Mercosul Assistance. In 1996 George managed the sale of Mercosul Assistance to Mondial Assistance. This experience led to a number of successful ventures. In 1999, George became the founder of the first web-based insurance broker in Brazil, providing people with the power to compare plans from local insurance providers. In 2001, George founded APRIL Servicos, a provider of back-office management for health insurance companies. Before joining Emailvision in 2010, George worked as an independent consultant for organizations who were rapidly expanding their operations in Brazil including Santander and Itaú. George is a graduate from L'Université de Caen Basse-Normandie with degrees in history and law. He is fluent in French, English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Vice President North America
He joined Emailvision in January 2007. Bertrand started his career as a Marketing Analyst at MSN. Prior to joining Emailvision, Bertrand spent five years in business development at Xerox. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Reims Management School in France. Bertrand speaks fluent English, French, and German, as well as conversational Dutch.
Vice President Europe
Frédéric Nahon joined Emailvision in October 2007. Frédéric started his career as a Sales Manager at Egencia. He then joined Expedia Group managing key international accounts in the UK. Prior to joining Emailvision, Frédéric was the Sales Director for Expedia Group France and Belgium. He holds a Masters Degree in Economics and a DESS (Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées) in Quality Strategy from the Université de PARIS XII. Frédéric speaks fluent English, French and Spanish, as well as conversational Italian.
Vice President Asia Pacific
Nick Gold joined Emailvision in September 2008. He has 15 years of senior management experience in the software and services industry. Nick started his career in the SAP sales team at IBM global services. Following this position, Nick managed UK sales for a division of Sage Software. Prior to joining Emailvision, Nick led several sales teams at LexisNexis UK. Nick holds a Master’s degree in International Business from the University of Manchester – Institute of Science and Technology.
Vice President of Strategic Alliances
Jacques Prothon joined Emailvision in 2008. He has over 10 years of international business development experience that include leadership positions based in Europe and Asia. Prior to Emailvision, Jacques spent over 8 years at Alcatel serving as their Marketing Director for Benelux, Business Development Manager in APAC and Sales Manager for Australia. Jacques received a BA with Honors in Business from Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK, an Ingenieur Maitre Alliances from Blaise Pascale University in France, and an Executive MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands. Jacques speaks fluent English, French, Dutch and conversational German. He is also a member of the 2011 Emailvision Summits team.
General Counsel
Manoj Paul, joined Emailvision in 2011. Prior to joining Emailvision, he was the UK General Counsel for Boeing. His 20 year career in the IT and Legal services industry has included leadership positions at Cazenove, Synstar and Avanade. While serving at Avanade, Manoj was the EMEA Director of Legal Affairs and the interim General Counsel. Manoj received a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of East London. He received his Law Society Solicitors Finals from the College of Law. Manoj is fluent in English and speaks conversational Punjabi and Hindi.
